toll roads

In a foreign country I saw people fleeing because they were in the middle of an earthquake and were frightened of a Tsunami. They all tried to get to higher ground. A wise decision I think. But
the road they were using had a toll booth and you guessed it. Those fleeing for their lives had to wait in line to pay the toll.
Imagine the stats for the days takings. Best day yet~ could have got more only they drowned in the queue.
Where is the common sense to open the road to the population.
I spose that is paying the ferryman...

the government is going to try and get parents to take responsibility for their fat offspring.

They envisage the schools sending home notes about kids and their kiojules.

Lighten up or else.

How can you regulate what goes in the gaping maw?
