This was reported in just about every news paper. It seems a bit rich but anything is possible in today's world. From the BBC world service; (with a little pun)
If you enjoy foods that might create wind you may be in for a spot of trouble in Malawi.
We are talking foods like boiled eggs and beans which often find their way onto the nation's dinner tables.
Be warned because breaking wind in public could soon become a criminal offence if some of the country's law makers have their way.
BBC Network Africa's Raphael Tenthani in Blantryre has been getting to the bottom of it.
and this from the registerhttp://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/02/04/malawi_stink/: Big stink over Malawi farting ban. It seems there is no end to the pun!

going through the hoops
Belgium Gardens state school in queensland has banned hand stands and cartwheels.
For safety reasons they say.
Luckily the rest of the public have seen the light and common sense prevails to kick up a stink at this new safety initiative.
People, the press, and the parents all responded with disbelief and incredulous looks. Go the league of common sense I say.
Thank goodness someone is seeing sense and trying to put a stop to the erosion of personal freedoms.
Cartwheelers unite!
