I went to a house and it was modern and new. It had all the mod cons a new house should have. Yet there was something wrong.

When you enter a room in the dark you expect to turn on the light switch. Nothing new in this idea. But in this house the light switch is behind, yes behind the door that you just opened. So groping about in the dark you have to fully open the door and go around it to get the light switch.

How sensible is that. And to all you who think the doors were put on the opposite door jam, this is what I thought, but it was not to be.

Someone wasn't thinking that day, and they call electricians Sparkies.

The lights are on but nobody is home.
