A frenchman has absconded with a huge amount of money. If he had any common sense he would have stopped at a decent amount. Or stopped even before he started. Does he really think they will stop looking for him? The trick is not to put this man on a pillar for his audacity. He is a thief, as is Ned Kelly, Ronald Biggs, and the like.
