In Australian retailer has a simple message for people who just want to look around: pay up or get out.
A speciality grocery store in Brisbane, Australia, began charging its customers a $5 "just looking" fee in February, Consumerist reports. The policy is intended to curb the "high volume of people who use this store as a reference point and then purchase goods elsewhere," reads the sign posted outside the store
So it has come to this. It seems to the league that they have a problem trying to lure customers in to buy.
I know...how about lowering the profit margin, giving genuine service and really competing in the market.
Who next. Harvey Norman. Coles, ...if this shop thought about it for just a minute they could give a great retail experience...just make things more affordable, rather than acting like a bank.;)
